Greer Community Ministries
Good Shepherd was one of the founding churches of GCM. We collect canned goods, toiletries, and clothing items as needed for their ministry to the Greer community.
Crestview Elementary School
Good Shepherd has a relationship with Crestview Elementary, providing support in the classroom, in the office, and during special holiday events.
Let's Cook!
In this partnership with Greer Relief, the focus is on gaining confidence in planning meals, learning how to find ingredients and making nutritious, well-balanced meals that are delicious.
Alcoholics Anonymous
AA meets in Ballenger Hall at 7:00 PM on Monday and Thursday evenings.
Christmas Shoes Ministry
For many years, Good Shepherd has partnered with this Greer-based organization to provide needy children with a new pair of shoes, socks, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

Serving our Parish Community
Pastoral Care Team
The pastoral care team assists the priest in visiting parishioners in the hospital, as well as those who are homebound. Team members spend time in conversation and prayer with those in need, bringing the love of the church to them.
Hospitality Team
The hospitality team assists the priest in welcoming visitors and new members. The volunteers also host parish events like the annual parish picnic, chili cookoff, and the occasional funeral reception.
Building and Grounds Team
This team finds their call to service in maintaining the grounds of the church and buildings. They also assist the priest in setting up and taking down furniture for different events happening in the church.
Security Team
The security team helps provide a watchful eye over the campus during Sunday services. They work hand-in-hand with the medical team as needed.
Medical Team
This team of medical professionals is available to parishioners in case of an emergency. They work hand-in-hand with the security team as needed.

Livestream Team
This team of volunteers serves the community and the parish by livestreaming our 10:30 Sunday Service each week, as well as the occasional funeral service. Homebound parishioners as well as people around the world are able to worship with us through this ministry of live-streaming on our YouTube channel, which can be found below.
Eucharistic Minister
A Eucharistic Minister assists in the service of Holy Eucharist. They are authorized by the church to administer the bread or the wine under the direction of the priest.
Eucharistic Visitor
Eucharistic Visitors are trained by the priest to take Holy Communion to those who can't be at church, including the homebound and hospitalized.
Worship Leader
A worship leader assists with all facets of worship. They are trained to read Scripture and to lead the Prayers of the People. They are also authorized to lead Morning, Noon, or Evening Prayer as instructed by the priest.
Music Ministry
Our music director and the members of the choir bless our congregation through the ministry of the gift of music each Sunday.
